Dinah Balthis
- Photos of grandfather (Joseph L. Craigs) who was the chief of police in Phoebus in 1938. In the 1930s he was under Robert Snow who was the acting mayor. When a new mayor came to Phoebus, he did not get along with the police chief and removed him from the position. He was known for chasing the famous bootlegger Amos Gates in the 1930s. He was also a member of the Phoebus Volunteer Fire department. Newspaper articles relate to police action. All are from the Daily Press.
