Sponsored by the City of Hampton’s Neighborhood Office, Jamestown 2007 Committee, Hampton Public Library, and the Hampton History Museum, this site will provide resources on Hampton’s rich history. Our goal is to facilitate the research, collection, preservation, and sharing of Hampton’s local and neighborhood history by providing a platform for citizens to contribute information and images, which will make the historic resources of individuals across the city available to others.

The information and materials on this site, much of which were collected at the Hunt for Hampton History, have been contributed by individuals who are interested in preserving and sharing the stories of their families and neighborhoods.
